BENGALURU BOULDERING CHAMPIONSHIPS is being organised
by GETHNAA (General Thimmayya National Academy Adventure )
Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports. In association with Indian
Mountaineering Foundation and Department of Tourism, Government of
Karnataka. The event is being held on 1st & 2nd of September, 2017 at
Koramangala Indoor Stadium.Climbing has now officially been included in
the 2020 Olympics. Our Our vision 2020 Olympics. Our vision is to
catapult India as an international venue for Bouldering and create awareness
about the sport so that eventually India brings

The Govt. of
Karnataka is providing an excellent opportunity to the
students of various institutions to experience climbing and be a part of this
enthralling event. We have a competition for first timers as well as a separate
competition for the professionals. Each participant will be provided a
participation certificate by the Government and further awarded with
the cash prizes to the winners. However, the students with exceptional
climbing skills will be recognised and supported by the government.
Also, the institution with maximum participation will be awarded with the
'Certificate of Excellence in participation'. We will also extend some
invitee passes to students, parents & faculty to be a part of second day
of the event which will showcase Adventure Expo, IMF Mountain Film Festival
& Finals of the championship.
