          BENGALURU BOULDERING CHAMPIONSHIPS is being organised 
by GETHNAA (General Thimmayya National Academy Adventure )
Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports. In association with Indian 
Mountaineering Foundation and Department of Tourism, Government of 
Karnataka. The event is being held on 1^st & 2^nd of September, 2017 at
Koramangala Indoor Stadium.Climbing has now officially been included in 
the 2020 Olympics. Our Our vision 2020 Olympics. Our vision is to 
catapult India as an international venue for Bouldering and create awareness 
about the sport so that eventually India brings 

Olympic Medals from lesser known sports like "Sport Climbing".

          The Govt. of Karnataka is providing an excellent opportunity to the 
students of various institutions to experience climbing and be a part of this 
enthralling event. We have a competition for first timers as well as a separate 
competition for the professionals. Each participant will be provided a 
participation certificate by the Government and further awarded with 
the cash prizes to the winners. However, the students with exceptional 
climbing skills will be recognised and supported by the government.
          Also, the institution with maximum participation will be awarded with the 
'Certificate of Excellence in participation'. We will also extend some 
invitee passes to students, parents & faculty to be a part of second day 
of the event which will showcase Adventure Expo, IMF Mountain Film Festival 
& Finals of the championship.

          We assure to provide an informative & fun filled experience 
to students. We would love to see the energy of your institution with 
the maximum participation.

Bangalore North District of Bharat Scouts and Guides have proposed to hold the District Level Testing Camp for Tritiya Sopan Scouts and Guides and Rajya Puraskar Preparatory Camp for Scouts and Guides from 5^TH TO 8^TH AUGUST 2017 at Besant Park Doddaballapur. We request your Scout Masters and Guide Captains  to immediately submit the applications of Eligible Scouts and Guides  to Smt. Kumari Honnamma, District Organiser. These applications from the Eligible are required so as to facilitate Training and issue of certificates. We take  this  opportunity to thank you , your Scouters and Guiders , for the efforts taken in Training these Scouts  and Guides,  for  the said Award. The Testing Camp details is given below:

05. CAMP FEE            : Rs. 100/- per Head

06. FOOD CHARGES: Rs. 640/- @ Rs, 160/- per Day for 4 Days which includes

                  Breakfast/ Coffee , Juice, Lunch , Snacks with Tea & Dinner for 4 Days

07. TOTAL AMOUNT: Rs. 840/-  *This Amount can be paid at the Campsite in

     Uniform. ( Scouts must wear Blue Pants ) , Girl Guides should tie up the Plaited

     Hair with a Black Ribbon , Change of Clothing , Light / Warm  Bedding, Plate,

     Tumbler,  Mug, Toilet Kit, Knot Tying Rope, Staves and Coir Ropes for   

     Making Gadgets, Pioneering Projects, Note Book, Log Book, Pen, Sketch Pen,

     Torch, Proficiency Badge Certificates, Writing Materials, APRO, Personal

     Medicines, Needle & Thread and Mosquito repellants etc.,                                            

11. WHAT TO BRING IN PARTICULAR:    

      TRITEEYA SOPAN SCOUTS AND GUIDES,  SHOULD BRING  :

       (A) COMPLETED LOG BOOKS & PROFICIENCY BADGE 

             CERTIFICATES IN ORIGINAL DULY SIGNED BY UNIT LEADERS

             AND BADGE EXAMINORS. (SPECIMEN CERTIFICATE ENCLOSED)

       (B) TRITIYA SOPAN SCOUTS / GUIDES  MUST BRING FIVE  PASSPORT  

             SIZE COLOUR PHOTOGRAPHS IN CORRECT AND COMPLETE

             UNIFORM

      

      RAJYAPURASKAR SCOUTS AND GUIDES SHOULD BRING THE

       FOLLOWING:

       (A) PROVISIONS AND OTHER MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR COOKING

            IN OPEN AIR WITH FIRE &  SERVING FOOD FOR 2 PERSONS

            INDIVIDUALLY ( EACH  SCOUT / GUIDE, TO COOK ONE SWEET

            DISH, ONE HOT SPICEY DISH AND MAKE ONE BEWERAGE 

      (B) SHOULD BRING MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR BUILDING

            IMPROVISED SHELTER FOR TWO PERSONS TO STAY

     ( C ) SCOUTS AND GUIDES MUST FOLLOW NEW APRO OF APRIL 2015

      (D) SCOUTS AND GUIDES MUST QUALIFY FOR THE AMBULANCE

            MAN BADGE.

      (E) SHOULD PRODUCE COMPLETED LOG BOOK AND ALL

            PROFICIENCY  BADGE CERTIFICATES IN ORIGINAL TAGGED

            AS A BUNCH TOGETHER DULY SIGNED BY THE UNIT LEADERS

            AND BADGE EXAMINERS.

      (D) SINCE THE STATE LEVEL RAJYAPURASKAR IS SCHEDULED TO

            BE HELD IMMEDIATELY AFTER  THIS CAMP IT IS NECESSARY

            THAT THE COMPLETED  LOG BOOKS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED

            WITHOUT FAIL.

Hence you are requested to kindly send your Scouts and  Guides  ALONG WITH THEIR SCOUT MASTERS, GUIDE CAPTAINS respectively to the above Camp so as to enable them to prepare for the Testing Camp.The List of ELIGIBLE SCOUTS, GUIDES, selected by the District / State WILL BE PUBLISHED ON BLOG. NOTES : FOR THE SCOUT MASTERS, GUIDE CAPTAINS, :

01. Those who have not paid the Unit Renewal Fee may pay the same at the Camp.

      If it is already paid please bring the Receipt or the Receipt No and Date of

      Payment. -

02. Scouts / Guides must prepare themselves to Sing the Prayer Song, Flag Song

      and National Anthem individually and repeat the Law, Promise and Pravesh

      Subjects orally..

03. The List of Eligible Candidates will not be published if you have not submitted

      the application for Tritiya Sopan Testing Camp and Rajyapuraskar Prep

      Camp. Those who have not yet submitted their application for the Testing

      Camp for Tritiya Sopan Scouts and Guides , Rajya puraskar preparatory

      Camp can submit their applications ON OR BEFORE 30^th July 2017 and the

      Eligibility can be confirmed while Submitting the application. The

      application forms can be had from the District Organiser or use the enclosed

      Xerox Copy of the application.

      NOTE:  FIRST MAKE COPIES AS PER THE NUMBER OF APPLICANTS

      BEFORE FILLING UP THE APPLICATIONS . 2 copies should be given one

      for District , one for your unit . 4 Scouts or 4 Guides in each form

      ELIGIBILITY : TRITIYA SOPAN : Scouts and Guides should have

      completed 11years and 8 months as on 31^st July 2017

            You are aware that the Scouts and Guides are participating in the Independence Parade every year at Manekshaw Parade Grounds wherein the Hon. Chief Minister , Govt of Karnataka will receive the Salute on 15^th August 2017. In order to give an opportunity to all the Scouts and Guides in all the Districts in the State to participate in the State Level Parade held at Manekshaw Parade Grounds , the State HQ  has planned the following action. .

             You are requested to select 2 Scouts and 2 Guides who are very Good in March Past and Drill and depute them to a Training Camp at State HQ, “Shanthigruha” , Palace Road, Bangalore . The details are as follows :
