          Sub: Save Water - Save Bengaluru Campaign in 

                   association with BWSSB

     Scout / Guide Greetings to you Sir / Madam,

     As we are all aware of the extreme weather this summer which has already shown signs of Water Shortage. It is predicted that this Summer is going to be horrible with Acute shortage of Water which will create a Crisis.The Bharat Scouts and Guides wishes to rise to the occasion as done in the past through its Community Development Service Projects. 

     In view of the above the Bharat Scouts and Guides recently kicked off a Campaign "Save Water Conserve Nature" in Bengaluru City to create awareness about the upcoming Summer, Scarcity of Water by saving every single drop of water.

     The Bengaluru Water supply and Sewerage Board is organising the "Save Water - Save Bengaluru' Campaign in association with the support of Scouts and Guides of Bengaluru North District and Bengaluru South District and other Non Governmental organisations throughout the year to take the initiative to Educate more people and seek support of Heads of Institutions / Unit Leaders to promote the Campaign "Save Water - Save Water - Save Bengaluru"

     We request you to kindly undertake the following 

     Activities

*     Please depute your Unit Leader (Scouters and Guiders) 

       for a Training on Water Awareness programme on 

       20th MARCH 2017 AT 3.00 PM at State HQ , "Shanthi 

       Gruha" Palace Road, Bengalure -560 001. (Adjacent to 

       Maharani's College) 

       Talk to all the Students in your esteemed Institutions on "SAVE WATER - SAVE BENGALURU" Awareness by 

  observing the "WORLD WATER DAY" ON 22nd March   

  2017. You are requested to lauuch your Campaign on this 

  Day in your School Level.

*     After the Examinations the Scouts and Guides can undertake the following Patrol Activities as a part of the SUMMER COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS.

*    House to House Save Water Save Bengaluru Awareness      

      Campaign along with Family Members  

*     Save Water Save Bengaluru Awareness Campaign in 

       Traffic signals along with along with Scout Troop / Guide 

        Company

*     Save Water Save Bengluru Awareness Campaign in Metro 

       Stations along with Scout Troop / Guide Company.

       This programme is iniated by our State Headquarters of Bharat Scouts and GuidesKarnataka. Hence We request your kind Cooperation and support to make to make the Campaign 

a Grand Success.
