Bangalore North District has proposed to hold the 3rd Rover / Ranger
Moot at Coonoor / Ooty from Thursday the 25th to Sunday the 28th
February 2016..
The Heads of the Institutions are
requested to send maximum Number of Rovers and Rangers along with their Rover /
Ranger Leaders to participate in the
Rover / Ranger Moot and oblige. The Absence of the Staff members attending
the Camp may kindly be treated AS ON DUTY (Ref As Above ).The Details

07. HOW TO REACH THE CAMP : Catch the Evening or Night Train to
Coimbatore from
Bangalore City or Yeshwanthpur. After Reaching
Coimbatore
Change over to Platform where the Train leaves for
Mettupalyam. Board the
Train to Metttupalyam. After getting down At
Mettupalyam Catch the Mini Bus or Town to
Coonoor.. Again at Coonoor
Bus Stand catch a Mini
Bus going to Ottupattarai , Stanley Park
where
Campsite is situated. 3 to 4 persons can join together and take
an
Auto which will bring you to Ottupattarai / Stanley Park Campsite directly.
RETURN
JPURNEY: Catch the Mini Bus / Auto to reach
Coonoor Bus Stand.
From there Catch a Mini Bus or regular Bus
to Mettupalyam.
From Mettupapalyam board the Train to Coimbatore. From
Coimbattore Change
over to platform where
you will board the Train to Bangalore or Yeshwanthpur.
For availing the Concession purchase
tickets from Bangalore to
Metupalyam and
Back.

SIGHT SEEING / STUDY TOUR Arrangements have been made for Sight
Seeing At
Coonoor and Ooty by Bus on Cost sharing Basis.
This will
approximately work out to Rs.
250/- per Head. The places of Visit
are the famous
Botonical Garden, Doddabetta, Boating and Amusement Park,
Pasteur Institute, Pykara Dam, etc.,

NOTE FOR UNIT LEADERS;
01. Rover Crew and Ranger Team should have
paid Unit Renewal fee of Rs. 194/- per Unit
per Annum. For the years 2011-12 ,
2012-13, and 2013-14 and 2014-15 . receipts
of the payment of Renewal Fee to be produced. Please Ignore if already paid.
02.
Camp Rules must be followed Strictly.
03. List of participating Rovers and Rangers
have to be sent with their Names and Age
duly certified by the principal .
04. Risk certificate should be attached along
with the letter as per the Format given
in page 4.
