Report
to Chennai International Airport @ 0300 Hrs to board your flight AI 273
to Colombo. Flight departs @ 0600 Hrs. Arrive Colombo Bandaranayake
International Airport @ 0720 Hrs, meet and assist by our local representative
and transfer to Bentota. Breakfast enroute to Bentota at Restaurant. Journey
takes about 3 hours by Road (140 Kms) Arrive and Check in Hotel Club Bentota
(Standard Check-in time is 1400 hrs, Early check-in subject to availability).
Lunch at Bentota, remaining day free at the beach side resort. Evening take a
picturesque boat trip on the ‘Madhu Ganga’ river.River Safari in Madhu Ganga :
The primitive life style of the inhabitant of the islands of the Madhu River is
only a boat ride away. The boat ride takes us through the thick mangroves and
abundant the bird life, to reveal the primitive style of fishing and prawn
trapping still practiced by the inhabitants of the islands. Dinner &

at the Hotel. We check-out and proceed to Nuwara Eliya (200 Kms - Takes
about 4 hrs), enroute we visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the
best tea in the world is produced. Here you could observe all about the process
of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure
Ceylon tea in the factory. Arrive and Lunch at Indian Restaurant. Check-in
Hotel and Afternoon free for own activities - Evening go for a short City tour
of Nuwara Eliya. Dinner & Overnight stay at the Hotel.

ELIYA - KANDY
Breakfast
at the hotel. Transfer to Kandy (96 Kms - 2 Hrs). Arrive and check-in Hotel
Swiss Residence. Lunch at the restaurant. Kandy - the last
capital of the Sri Lankan kings. The name Kandy conjures visions of a storied
past, splendour, legend, folklore, mystery and traditions lovingly kept alive
for countless years.
On
arrival we do a city tour of Kandy - a World Heritage Site. Drive around the
Kandy Lake, the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum
and a lapidary. Also visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy. Thereafter
witness a cultural show. Dinner & over night stay at the Hotel.

- COLOMBO
Breakfast
at the hotel. Check-out and proceed to Colombo (116 Kms - Takes about 2 Hrs 30
Mins), enroute we visit the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela, which is a home to
about 60 Elephants found abandoned or orphaned in the wild. Also, accompany the
Elephants to a river close by to see them having their daily
baths. Lunch at the restaurant.
In
the afternoon do a city tour of Colombo, observing the old Parliament, the
residential areas and the BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference
Hall), A Hindu Kovil, a Buddhist Temple, Observing the Galle Face Green and
visit Fort Bazaar. Shopping is never an end in Colombo - visit House of
Fashions, Majestic City shopping complex, ODEL Unlimited Dress Boutique,
Noritake Ceramic Showroom, Barefoot Gallery and Lakmedura Handicraft Centre.
Overnight stay at your hotel in Colombo. Dinner and overnight at the

Continue to kandy
Visit the Kandy city - Upper Lake
Drive, Wood carving workshop, Gem museum and factory,
Evening visit the Famous Temple of

En- route visit to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage .The home to almost 70 Elephants of different ages you will have the opportunity to watch this herd as they bathe and play in the river nearby. There are many babies and almost all these Elephants are ones that have been found in the jungles lost and separated from their Herds or with injuries
Visit to Herbal & spice garden, Gem museum, engage in few activities such as gem cutting and jewellery manufacture.
Visit to Kandy temple of tooth in the evening, accompanied with traditional drumming, are held at the temple daily at dawn, midday, and in the evening.
