REPORT OF THE COLLECTION DRIVE ORGANISED BY THE BANGALORE NORTH DISTRICT IN COORDINATION WITH SRI CHAMUNDI SCOUT GROUP & SRI CHAMUNDI SCOUT GUILD

     State HQ of Bharat Scouts and Guides held a meeting on 9^th May 2015 to discuss the ways and means of Collecting a Fund for helping the Victims of the Earthquake in Nepal. This meeting was attended by the State Chief Commissioner, State Secretary , State Treasurer , STC ( S ) and STC ( G ) , SOC ( S ) , SOC ( G ) and District Secretary , Bangalore North District. In this Meeting it was decided to organize a Collection Drive by the Bangalore North District with the help of Sri. Chamundi Scout Group and Guild at Sri Chamundi Scout Group , Malleshwaram on 8^th May 2015.

            Mr. B.K.Sheshadri called a meeting of the Office Bearers of the Bangalore North District , Sri Chamundi Scout Group and Sri Chamundi Guild. This meeting unanimously approved the proposal and authorized the District Secretary to go ahead.

            His Holiness Sri. Tadhugiri Yathiraja Narayana Ramanuja Jeeyar ( Thiru Swamy ) was requested to come and bless the Children. His Holiness  readily agreed. An Invitation was designed as follows :-

    Bangalore North District, Chamundi Scout Group and Guild and State HQ ,

  Karnataka lead by Sri. P.G.R. Sindhia, State Chief Commissioner organised a Fund 

      Collection Drive at Malleshwarm where the Scouts and Guides of Bangalore North District

       were able to collect a huge Sum of Rs. 63,500/- . This was handed over to 

     Mr. Prabhudeva . J. Chigateri the State Treasurer. On this occasion the State HQ 

  donated a Sum of Rs. 5,00,000/-. under the August Presence of 

                      H.H. Sri Yadhugiri Yathiraja Narayana Ramanuja Jeeyar ( Thiru Swamy ) of Yathiraja Mutt, Melukote
