Dear sir / Madam,

                   Sub:-“Save Water – Save Bengaluru” Campaign organised

                           by Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board.

                   Ref:-  Letter from State HQ No. BSG/SHQ/2353/2016-17 dated                               08.03.2017.     

The The Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board planning to organize the  “ SAVE WATER SAVE BENGALURU ” campaign throughout the year in Bengaluru. They have requested the Bharat Scouts and Guides to associate with the Save Water-Save Bengaluru campaign along with the B.W.S.S.B. The launching programme will be held on 22^ND MARCH 2017 at Bengaluru on the observance of “WORLD WATER DAY ”.

         We therefore request You kindly to depute 150 Scouts and Guides along with the Unit Leaders from your District to participate in the Launching Programme.  

To achieve this object a Meeting of District Officias, LA Secretaries and unit Leaders has been organized by the State HQ on SATURDAY THE 11^TH MARCH 2017 at “Shanthigruha” State HQ, Palace Road, Bangalore – 560 001  at 11 AM . The following Action Plan will be discussed.\

ACTION PLAN

• Training for Unit Leaders and Key Volunteers.
• House to house awareness campaign.
• Will cover at least 150 wards.
• Awareness walk along with plumber.
• Awareness on traffic signals.
• Awareness talk in 1000 schools.
• On 22nd march we will launch the campaign in all the schools.

 TIME LINE

• 11^TH MARCH 2017      :Meeting of LA Secretaries and District officials at                   State HQ at “Shanthigruha”, Palace Road,B’lore at 11.00 AM.

• 18th March 2017          : Training to Unit Leaders.
•  22nd March 2017         : Launch of Campaign.
• 1st- 10th April 2017      : Campaign by Scouts and Guides.
• 10th-30th April 2017    : Campaign by Rovers and Rangers.
• April & May 2017        : C.D/C.S project work by Scouts, Guides,
•  Rovers and Rangers
• May 2017          
• Campaign of Namma Metro Station.

• June to Dec 2017          : Regular awareness program (along with local
                                           BWSSB engineers as Community Service Project.

 As such all the Officials, LA Secretaries are requested to attend the meeting on 11^th March 2017 at 11.00 AM at State HQ “Shanthigruha” Palace Road, Bengaluru-01. The State HQ will extend the hospitality by providing Lunch .

           We therefore request you kindly extend your Co-operation and support for the successful conduct of the “Save Water- Save Bengaluru” Campaign in best interest of the Public Services..
