KHUDOS FOR THE SUCCESS OF HE SUCCESS OF THE
17TH NATIONAL JAMBOREE AT MYSORE
17th National Jamboree has concluded with a happy note.
191 Scouts , 160 Guides , Maximum no of Rovers and Rangers of our District participated in the Jamboree.
On behalf of the District I congratulate
Mr. P.G.R. Sindhia ,
State Chief Commissioner
for his Great efforts in making the Jamboree a Grand Success. With this Jamboree I have attended all the 3 National Jamborees held in Karnataka
ie 1960-3rd All India Jamboree at Sadashivanagar, Bangalore, 1985-10th All India Jamboree held at Palace Grounds, Bangalore
& 2016-17th National Jamboree at Mysore.
Apart from this I have attended the
5th National jamboree at Kalyani , West Bengal during 1967, 12th National Jamboree at Palghat , Kerala during 1994,
13th National Jamboree at Khurda, Orissa, in 1998.
I also attended the World Centenary jamboree at London during 2007
I am happy to inform that the 17th National Jamboree was very well organised compared to the previous Jamborees. I congratulate the State Chief Commissioner and his State Team for the success of the jamboree. At this rate I have no doubt that the State can sponser a World Jamboree also.
